U8 TLFC vs Brimbank Stallions

23 May 2021 by Jarrod Caminiti

What a beautiful morning for soccer at home of Brimbank stallions. This was a game I have been looking forward to seeing, as Brimbank is a state of the art club with an abundance of recourse. The one thing that no other club can match is our boys dedication and love for the game. This was evident as the lead changed a couple of times and the boys never gave up. There was a more defensive approach in the first half with the ball being played short and along the wings, our midfielders crossing the ball into the middle resulting in two goals at the halfway mark from Caleb and Liei’s goal in the top left corner over the keepers head was something to marvel. The second half got even more intense as I believe both coaches had the same idea and realised that we needed to be more offensive and then the goals came raining in. Marcus finally got the goal that I told him he would get and whilst Anthony didn’t get his usual opening goal, I’m sure he was happy with the three he scored earning him the coaches award for the day. The end result was 5-6 in our favour but this was one of the best games to watch as both teams were evenly matched. Thanks to everyone who came to support our little super stars.
