Club Update - FV Latest Announcement Aug 17

20 Aug 2021 by Lajos Kozak

Hello all,

We sincerely hope every family is safe and well during the extended lockdown. FV (and TLFC) still remain hopeful that once restrictions ease and the weather becomes warmer, we will be able to return to play.

FV has proposed to extend our season to Sep 19 and beyond where possible. All Clubs were asked for their feedback and the committee has submitted that we would be happy to extend until Sunday Oct 3 if need be (pending on Council Approval of course)

FV will aim to action the following items below and will make a final decision once all Club’s feedback has been taken into account. We shall be in touch when more updates are received.

Thinking of you all. Best wishes from the Committee

An agreement has been reached with Cricket Victoria around facility sharing into September, notwithstanding the agreement with Cricket, the decision on facility access rests with Council.
To assist Clubs, FV have communicated to and run Q&A sessions with LGA’s. FV are in the process of receiving specific information from Council on facility access for each ground within the municipality.
For those Clubs who do not operate from a council run facility, please liaise with relevant bodies prior to submitting your Club’s feedback.
